Course 1: Human Leadership

Clarify your values and understand yourself as a leader -

  • Have deeper clarification of your personal values and understanding of how they align with your team, organisation and system culture

  • Effectively use human and specifically adult development theory, self determination theory and positive psychology to widen your perspective and insight into successes and challenges and inform your decision making across a range of contexts

  • Use tools and strategies to boost and balance your energy levels and connection to others

  • Feel (and be) confident in your leadership

Course Overview

How will you learn?

Our approach:

  • Cohort based, therefore you will progress with the same group of learners (also in senior leadership positions)

  • Blended learning including live virtual workshops and self-paced learning

  • There are 4 virtual classroom sessions (and 1 shorter induction session) spread over 2 terms to allow time to complete self-paced learning in between sessions

  • Virtual workshops are held between 3pm and 5.15pm (GMT) (dates TBC) and are used to consolidate and explore learning

  • Self-paced learning content and linked activities are provided digitally via our learning platform

  • There is a learning community available for facilitator and peer interactions

  • Regular feedback and touch-points throughout the course in a range of formats

  • The option of Two 1:1 coaching sessions with one of our professional coaches

Our Human Leadership Course aims to breakdown entrenched working patterns to recognise strengths and interpersonal values and how these can be realised to build capacity and capabilities to lead authentically. Through our development process school and trust leaders are empowered to evolve and transform themselves and their team to greater outcomes for all stakeholders both personally and professionally.

Who is this course for?

This course is designed to focus on the ‘self’ aspect of leadership. It is aimed educators in senior positions within their organisation who:

  • Are seeking to expand their leadership capacity

  • Have taken on a new leadership position

  • Are seeking to enhance their leadership knowledge and practices

  • Are looking to better understand their own development journey and seeking guidance in their journey going forward
